Are you drawn to a career related to dogs? Do you wish to become a dog trainer, club monitor, kennels manager or a breeder? If so then the Canine Domain is the best place to help you on your way.
The BPEC, Brevet Professionnel Éducateur Canin (Professional Canine Educator Certificate), is a level IV certificate approved by the Ministry of Agriculture. It enables you to acquire the skills and knowledge in all required sectors for the practise of an activity in the field of canine education and training.
An educator is a specialist in the training of dogs who adapts the behaviour of the animal to its environment and the constraints of our society.
The educator teaches the dog certain behavioural rules destined to prepare the dog to become a happy and pleasant companion to its master and an animal that is comfortable and content in its role in society.
The team at Canine Domain offer you a certification course of 35h/week. This will enable you to discover the professional sector and the main actors in the canine world and acquire all the necessary theoretical understanding (animal biology, specific regulations, ethology…). You will also learn certain professional practices and techniques (education, obedience, canine skills training…).
During your training course you will have access to all the skills and abilities of our experienced trainers (canine educator, attack decoy, behaviourist…) and all the support necessary for an in-depth discovery of the canine world.
At the end of your training course various types of activity will become accessible to you:
-
Canine education
-
Customer service
-
Canine breeders
-
Manager of a shelter or kennels.
The Professional Certificate is awarded to candidates who have successfully completed all 12 unit credits (written, oral and practical tests, by continuous assessment or final examination).
